This year, Universal Pictures releases Beast, an action/thriller film about a divorced father who travels to Africa with his two daughters in order to reconnect with them and repair the relationship she had with them before divorcing their mother. In between jokes, we learn that the girls are upset with him because he believes he abandoned his mother because of the illness he suffered from, and we also learn that the family is not on vacation in Africa, but rather in the location where the missing mother was born.
